Prendergast Vale School is seeking a dynamic Assistant Headteacher to lead our Personal Development and Key Stage 3 provision from January 2025. In this key leadership role, you will:
- Lead and develop our personal development programmes, ensuring a rich and diverse curriculum that prepares students to thrive academically and personally.
- Drive improvements in Key Stage 3, enhancing the quality of education and student engagement.
- Play an integral role in strengthening our relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community, with the goal of increasing the number of families choosing Prendergast Vale as their first choice.
- Oversee community and stakeholder engagement initiatives, promoting the school's ethos and achievements.

Welcome to Prendergast Vale School, an all-through school in the heart of Lewisham for children from the ages of 3 to 16. The Leathersellers’ Federation of schools is made up of a group of three secondary and two primary schools as well as Prendergast 6th Form. We are very fortunate to be part of the Federation and receive a lot of support from the Leathersellers’ Company, which helps our pupils succeed.
