Your Role as a Humanities Teacher
Dive into the exciting world of humanities and inspire pupils to explore global perspectives! Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching History, Geography, Environmental Management or Global Perspectives across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Designing engaging lessons that spark curiosity and critical thinking.
- Preparing pupils for success in IGCSE and AS examinations.
- Promoting inquiry-based learning and cross-disciplinary connections.
- Supporting pupils’ academic progress and well-being with tailored guidance.
- Collaborating with a team of passionate educators to enhance the Humanities curriculum.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for dynamic educators who:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Social Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Possess a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Have experience teaching Humanities subjects at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Are familiar with the British National Curriculum.
- Have excellent classroom management skills and a talent for inspiring students.
- Value collaboration and professional growth.
- Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
