ACS Doha is a pre-K-12 school, currently of 980 students, with scope for significant expansion in its new home. 

The Business Manager is a key member of the Senior Leadership team in Artemis Education schools. Reporting directly to Artemis Central Head Quarter alongside the Head of School, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellence in all aspects of the finance, and operations of the business.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Financial Management: Prepare and monitor budgets, advise on financial policy, and ensure efficient accounting operations (payroll, procurement, invoicing, debt recovery).

Health & Safety: Implement risk management strategies, ensure compliance with fire safety and Health & Safety regulations for staff, students, and visitors.

Facility & Resource Management: Negotiate contracts, oversee facilities management, and manage the strategic use of school resources and premises lettings.

Human Resources: Manage staff recruitment, contracts, and records, oversee non-teaching staff, and provide leadership for ICT and Marketing/Admissions departments.

Income Maximization: Maximize income from school lettings, extended services, and manage petty cash records.

Record Management: Archive and dispose of financial and personnel records, and maintain an asset register.

Reporting: Prepare financial reports for the Principal/Board, resolving any financial issues promptly.


Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (advanced) diploma 
  • Experience in a senior level position within a service-oriented industry
  • Experience of start-up environment
  • Expert knowledge of Local accounts and administrative procedures
  • Prior experience operating in Netsuites ERP
  • Fluent English communication skills.
