We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

Pedmore High School are recruiting a Lettings Assistant on a casual basis. The position is for holiday cover and will cover three evening shifts (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays)

Our lettings operate within the following hours:

Mondays – 4:00pm until 9:30pm

Tuesdays – 4:00pm until 8:00pm

Wednesday – 4:00pm until 9:30pm

Thursday – 3:45pm until 9:30pm

Friday – 3:30pm until 8:00pm

Saturdays – 8:00am – 4:00pm

Sundays – 8:00am – 5:00pm

Flexibility to cover other site staff during absence and holidays will be required. Flexibility may also be required to work during the school day on occasions.

The successful candidate will be working with the Site Team to support the day-to-day delivery of Lettings and to undertake day to day work associated with the Lettings and general maintenance tasks of the school site.

Experience and Skills

•       An understanding of sports, leisure/recreation and the associated user groups.

•       To have a polite, friendly, professional, respectful and flexible approach to work and to be customer focused

•       Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

•       Be flexible regarding working hours and demonstrate punctuality, excellent attendance and reliability.

•       Be enthusiastic in the promotion of standards of Health & Safety and cleanliness within and the grounds of the letting facilities and school site.

 You will need to be;

•       To be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance

•       Possess a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job task

•       Observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties.

•       Team player, personable, emotionally intelligent with a sense of humour

Experience: Previous experience of working in a school or education setting would be desirable but not essential.

This role has been assessed as working in regulated activity and is subject to an Enhanced DBS plus Children’s Barred List Check.
