Catering Assistant 

Part Time, Term Time Only 

20 hours per week

£12 per hour

Denstone College wish to provide part time opportunities for you to join our friendly and supportive team as a Catering Assistant on a permanent basis. we are looking for enthusiastic people to predominantly support the department over our busy lunch time service. We also have the possibility of late afternoon and weekend shifts should that be of interest. 

 If you would like to work in the hospitality sector and have a good work life balance with full training provided, then we would like to hear from you! 

Beginning life as a school in 1873, Denstone College is a thriving, co-educational boarding and day school, situated close to Uttoxeter. It has its own preparatory school, which has recently moved onto the main campus, providing continuous education on the same site for pupils aged from 4–18. The school is part of the Woodard Corporation, and the Head is in membership of HMC.

The Successful candidate will have: 

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is desired but not essential
• The ability to work a busy service and support in the preparation of meals 
• Communication skills to deliver polite, courteous and efficient customer service 
• Willingness to undertake relevant training if required 
• an understanding of Health and Safety
