Worth are recruiting a resourceful, hard-working and flexible Catering Supervisor to join the School soonest to be ‘hands on’ in the role to assist the Management and all staff in the provision of a comprehensive Catering Service that provides both quality and consistency in accordance with the standards required, being fully conversant with the requirement of basic food hygiene and to ensure these are observed at all times during the preparation, cooking and serving of all meals.

Due to the remote location of the school, Candidates are required to have access to reliable transportation.

As Catering Supervisor, your responsibilities would include:

  • Deputising for the Head of Catering and assisting them in the running of the department.
  • Food Delivery - To deliver first class, nutritious food to all members of the Worth community
  • Functions - To ensure that functions are stylish and creative and of high quality at all times.
  • Policies and Procedures - Ensure that any administration of COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety are correctly completed in line with Worth School policies and procedures. These include temperature checks and daily/weekly cleaning schedules.
  • Staff Management - Support Head of Catering

What we are looking for:

  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Current Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
  • Either qualified to City and Guilds 706 (1&2)/NVQ Level 1 & 2 or an experienced Supervisor, either with a valid Driver’s License
