The British International School, Phuket is a leading international day and boarding school(2 - 18 years) offering a quality education to the international community of the Asia/Pacific region.

We are seeking an inspiring, enthusiastic and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join a well established and successful Department. This position involves teaching Chemistry across the Secondary school and general KS3 Science.

As an exceptional Secondary teacher, you will possess outstanding subject expertise and a strong drive to impart this knowledge to your students. The following qualifications and attributes are essential:

  •  Genuine enthusiasm and dedication to fostering the holistic development of each student.
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably related to the teaching specialism, complemented by qualified teacher status or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching your specialised subject(s).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills.
  •  A firm commitment to continuous professional growth and learning.
  • A willingness to go above and beyond the duties outlined in this job description to add energy and inspiration to our school community.
