Job overview

This is a unique opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to work at Truro and Penwith College, taking a lead on the monitoring and maintenance of our electrical systems and promote a culture of safe working practices across the College.

Applicants should hold a recognised qualification in Electrical Instillation and Testing & Inspection. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience of managing or supervising small discipline of works would be advantageous.

The main priority of this role is to maintain in safe condition and good repair the electrical circuits, services, powered fixtures and fittings etc. throughout the College buildings.

The successful candidate will be required to work weekdays including some evenings where appropriate. There may be a need to include weekend working where the nature of the job requires it.
