Reporting to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer, the Compliance & Data Protection Officer will be responsible for fostering a culture of compliance throughout the schools within the Trust including monitoring compliance with current legislative frameworks and data protection law and provide support to schools and the central team. As Data Protection Officer, the postholder will oversee the Trusts data protection processes and advise schools and individuals on best practice.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of complex data protection and security information, a good understanding of computer systems, data management and how personal data is stored and processed with excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
This is a developing role with the possibility of career and pay progression reflective of performance.
