Job overview

We are currently looking for a Cook Supervisor to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School. This is an exciting opportunity in leading our experienced and dynamic catering team.

The salary for this post is Grade 3 , Scale Point 4. The working hours will be 27.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday during term time plus 5 INSET days. The pro-rata salary is £15,620 reflecting the working hours. The full-time equivalent salary is £23,114.

Main purpose of the job:

To be responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient operation of all aspects of the catering service including supervision of the team, cash reconciliation and the completion of all financial returns.

Key relationships:

The post holder will report to the School Catering Manager, the Head of Catering and Senior Leaders in School, and will work closely with catering team members.
