The role of a Cover Supervisor is very important within the school and the successful candidates will work under the guidance of departmental staff, supporting students in their learning so that they make good progress. The successful candidates will be effective communicators, who are able to engage students, guiding them effectively and keeping them motivated as they work on set tasks.

St John’s is an over-subscribed 11-18 Catholic school, which is set in Bishop Auckland, a rural, market town in County Durham. Our catchment area is large, with more than half of the student population travelling by school bus. Our facilities include a recently refurbished swimming pool and sports hall, as well as a flood-lit 3G pitch, which is used by students, staff and the wider community.
