Job overview

The Bay Learning Trust is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor at Morecambe Bay Academy. The role is pivotal in supporting all pupils within our school fulfil their potential.

The successful candidate will be able to build a good rapport with pupils in a short space of time, remain calm and confident when engaging with pupils in unfamiliar surroundings and adapt their teaching to deliver a wide range of subjects. The successful candidate will readily adapt to our school systems and policies to support the learning of our pupils and maintain our high expectations.

We are a large and friendly 11-18 secondary school at the heart of our local community. Our core values of Belong, Believe and Achieve are central to all that we do. Grade & Range: Grade 6 SCP 11 - 19

Salary Range:£27,269 - £31,067

Actual Salary: £20,466 - £23,316   term-time only – plus 1 week

Hours: 32.5 hours

Hours worked: 8.30 - 3.30   30-minute unpaid lunch break

Start Date: TBC

Closing Date: Friday 10 January 2025
