We wish to appoint a flexible, hardworking and enthusiastic Curriculum Support Assistant to work with our English and Maths Faculties and across the whole school. The nature of the work is in three broad areas:
● Providing clerical and administrative support to the faculty
● Working with students in classrooms or in small support groups within the designated curriculum team.
● Providing short-term absence cover for teachers where work has been set in advance by the teacher or by the subject leader.
With this role will come the responsibility of some independent teaching. We would welcome applications from those who have experience within schools and would like to progress to a post of greater responsibility. This post may also prove attractive to teachers who are planning to return to a post in education after a career break or to graduates who are considering teacher training and wish to gain experience in schools before applying. We are a teaching school and a number of colleagues who started with us in CSA roles subsequently went on to train as teachers with us and were then offered jobs on the teaching staff.
If you require any further information or would like to arrange a visit to the school, please contact Eva Hobson 01525 842611 / eva.hobson@redborne.com.
All offers of employment are “conditional” until Disclosure and Barring and qualification checks have been successfully completed and satisfactory references have been received. Redborne is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
