Aldar Education are currently seeking a Data Administrator and Examinations Officer to support with the Education Leadership Team across Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing in the 2024-2025 academic year or earlier if available. 

Mamoura British Academy is a British curriculum, mixed gender school until Year 8 and a girl’s only school from Year 9 onwards. It is located in a state of the art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

ESIS:

·  Inputting final grades for A Level and GCSE on ESIS.

·  Inputting Year13 exit exams grades on ESIS.

·  Ensure that all students have been allocated to correct classes/year groups on ESIS.

·  Ensure that the curriculum is allocated on ESIS.

·  Ensure that all subjects and scales are assigned on ESIS.

·  Signing of Decrees for Year 10 to Year 13.

·  Inputting termly data from engage onto ESIS for Y2-Y13 and approving these marks.

(I)GCSE and (I)A Level Exam Administration:

·  Ensuring Heads of Department upload exam entries internally to allow for the formal exam administration to be completed in due time for Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge.

·  Working with the Director of Inclusion to complete exam Access Arrangements as needed.

·  Adding exam entries for Pearson Edexcel onto Engage.

·  Completing Pearson Edexcel exam entries before exam board deadlines.

·  Completing upload spreadsheet for British Council Cambridge exams.

·  Creating centre timetables for (I)GCSE and (I)AL examinations.

·  Organising invigilation schedules for (I)GCSE and (I)AL exams.

·  Being a key holder for the Pearson Edexcel Examinations.

·  Administering the beginning and end of (I)GCSE and (I)AL examinations.

·  Organising Aramex collections for (I)GCSE and (I)AL examinations.

·  Liaising with finance to ensure exam entry fees are billed in due time.

·  Applying for examination remarks and appeals.

·  Making all required arrangements for exam results distribution.

MIS Administration:

·  Inputting all data onto MIS System linked to Education Assessment (Engage/iSams)

·  Importing data from Learning Ladders to MIS System (Engage/iSams)

·  Set up of iSams system and ongoing admistration of iSams

·  Full oversight of Engage/iSams on behalf of the education team.

Assessment Data:

·  Set up of students on GL assessments website for student exam entries (CAT4/PT/Exact etc).

·  Set up of ABT/IBT external examinations and completion of any additional documentation required.

·  Update Alps with all Y10-Y13 data on a half termly basis.

·  To extract required data from Learning Ladders, as directed by the education team.

·  Maintaining, developing and updating the Data Dashboards including the Inclusion Dashboard on a half termly basis.

·  Support Assistant Principals with any National Agenda assessment administration including but not limited to TIMSS/PIRLS/PISA.

New Admissions:

·  Arranging CAT4 tests for new students.

·  Confirming new students added to all Engage/ESIS classes before starting school.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications

·  A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject

Minimum Experience 

·  Previous experience in a data role and/or examinations role, ideally within a school


Job Specific Knowledge & Skills

Required:

·  Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word 

Desired:

·  Awareness of ADEK Educational Policies

·  Awareness of (I)GCSE, BTEC and (I)AL exam administration

·  Understanding of the British National Curriculum

·  Knowledge of ESIS

·  Knowledge of Engage

About Mamoura British Academy

Al Mamoura Academy is a partly co-educational international school located in Abu Dhabi, first accepting an intake of students in 2016. The school has primary and secondary areas, with the school’s primary division being co-educational and secondary being girls-only. As a newly built school, Al Mamoura Academy is able to boast of a huge range of modern teaching and recreational facilities, such as an auditorium, a swimming pool, numerous sports courts and halls, as well as a fully equipped library and extensive IT facilities. The curriculum at Al Mamoura Academy is primarily based on the English curriculum in primary phases, whilst secondary phases offer a wider range of international qualifications including GCSEs and A-level studies as well as a US Curriculum pathway.
