Tes is supporting the appointment of a Early Years Lead Practitioner (Mat Cover) to join a new Nursery based in Kensington and Chelsea.

The Role

The Nursery is looking for Early Years Lead Practitioners maternity cover to join the school from September 2024!

The working hours are 7:45 - 16:45. The working weeks are term time only but are paid full time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be accountable for the delivery of high quality inclusive early education, which is responsive to the needs of children and their families.
  • To lead practice within the classroom.
  • To monitor systems of assessment, recording and reporting on the progress in children’s development and learning.

Ideal Candidates:

  • The post holder must have hold EYTS or a graduate early years’ qualification. For applicants with QTS, this should be specific to the foundation stage age group. 
  • Extensive experience of working with young children, particularly 2–5-year-olds.
  • Experience of leading teams in delivering high quality early education.
