Job overview

To work with the class teacher to provide an outstanding education for pupils in line with the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage:

 

•         To work with the teacher to establish a structured free flow learning environment within the four principles of the Early Years Framework.

•       To lead, organise and deliver group and individual learning experiences in the areas of the curriculum identified by the Teacher.

•         To work with the teacher to support behaviour for learning within the efficiency of Positive Behaviour Support.

•         Support a climate of positive wellbeing within Early Years Foundation Stage for staff and young people.

•          To contribute to the assessment of pupils’ progress.

•         To support the work of the other colleagues in the team.

•         To provide cover for teachers in their own or other teams as appropriate.

•         Working with the teacher to write, implement and evaluate one-page profiles and pupil centred learning plans.
