Are you passionate about shaping the future of education and early years professionals? Are you keen to support the development of future early years practitioner skills and help to prepare young people for the world of work?

Strode College has a rare and exciting opportunity for a dedicated, experienced and qualified Early Years Educator and/or Teaching Assistant to join our growing team.

Teaching on the full range of 16 - 18-year-old T Level Foundation Year (Level 2), and T Level programmes you will be keen to provide high quality education that inspires using your current experience within the sector. You will engage with all aspects of the teaching programmes ensuring that students participate in innovative lessons that motivate whilst also supporting progression and achievement.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who also has a teaching qualification (or experience of teaching/mentoring) and an assessor qualification however we would also love to hear from people with a passion for the sector and who want to be part of educating young people.

Contractual Details

Rate of Pay or Salary: £23,506 - £31,169 pro rata per annum, depending on qualifications.

Working Time: 828 hours per annum of teaching and equivalent professional duties over 198 days, for full time posts and pro rata for part time posts. You will be expected to be on site for 34 hours per week pro rata during the whole academic year.

Contract Type: Permanent

Pension:  Teachers’ Pensions Scheme

Leave entitlement: 38 days per year plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time) plus additional discretionary days at Christmas.
