Job overview

We are currently recruiting an English-speaking teacher for one of our 6 -12 year-old classes.

The Penrith network, founded in December 2019, is today composed of more than twelve private schools in Paris and surrounding areas.

Our bilingual schools use alternative teaching methods with a precise pedagogical triptych:

- Active teaching methods focused on the development of the child's confidence, autonomy, ability to learn and individual rhythm, including Montessori pedagogy.

- Assurance of Learning and excellency in learning the fundamentals.

- Bilingual education from age 2 onwards.

The multi age Elementary classes welcome children from around the world and offer them lessons in French and in English in small groups

The ideal profile for this position is someone who

- is passionate about education and child development.

- is a native level English speaker

- has experience in teaching Elementary lessons  

- would feel at ease teaching in a multi age class

- has an excellent knowledge of alternative teaching methods including Montessori

- is familiar with the expectations of the French National Education system or the UK/US national education system; a degree in Education is a plus.

- Enjoys being involved in school life, welcoming parents, developing pedagogical projects, participating in school events..

- is a team player

- has the relevant papers to work in France
