Could you be instrumental in shaping an Engineering curriculum developing a core experience alongside specialist pathways in our different contexts? For example, design and manufacture, mechatronics and automation, maintenance installation and repair.
We are aiming to recruit a team of Engineering Educators to drive subject development and delivery alongside employers, building on the successful partnerships established at the Liverpool Life Sciences UTC across all secondary schools within the Trust.
You will have an opportunity to engage in Autodesk training, Ford philanthropy led projects, project-based learning opportunities with national and global organisations. You will collaborate with partners from academia and industry for example the Northern Automotive Alliance and Society for Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
Could you contribute significantly to an exciting and newly established team focusing on developing a new age of digitally skilled, technically capable engineering students in Liverpool City region?
You will be responsible for establishing and leading the support, advice and guidance that enables our school leaders to deliver exceptional engineering programmes for students. Our schools will become centres of excellence for engineering education.
You will work closely with at a team across four schools to establish and implement high quality engineering pathways from key stage 4 into Key Stage 5 enabling students to access high quality destinations including higher education, degree apprenticeships or employment-based training programmes.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for someone to play a pivotal role in development of the Trust at a time of significant growth.
You may be an experienced engineering educator or passionate physics, maths, technology or computer science specialist willing to refocus and develop your practice on engineering development.
