This is an exciting opportunity to join Queensmead School.  We have a reputation for teaching excellence, which leads to exceptional outcomes for our students at both GCSE and A level.  We invest heavily in our staff and we are very proud of their success. 

We are looking to appoint two tutors to support students in English and Maths.  The successful candidates will be passionate about helping students disadvantaged by school closures in recent months.  They must have qualifications in A Level Maths and/or English.  The role will involve working with students to provide small group tuition (3-5 students).  This post would suit a recent graduate who is looking to gain experience in education and potentially move on to teacher training.  

This is a fixed term position until 17th July 2025.  The working basis is 8 - 10 hours per week (Monday to Friday), Term Time only.  Please state on your application which subject you specialise in.

Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but not essential.

Queensmead School is based in South Ruislip, Middlesex, and is a ‘Good’, oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school where students achieve very highly and display ‘excellent behaviour’ (Ofsted).  It currently has around 1,450 students.
