We are seeking to appoint a teacher of English with excellent subject knowledge, to our highly successful English and Media Faculty. This is a terrific opportunity to join a dynamic, committed and hard-working team.

In 2024, 88% of our GCSE students gained a Grade 4 or above in English Language or English Literature which is reflective of the consistency in results we have achieved over time. We also offer English Literature and Media Studies at A-Level; both are popular choices for our sixth formers and similarly excellent results are achieved in these subjects.  These results reflect the high expectations of the department which is built on a foundation of teamwork. The successful candidate will work with the team to maintain a focus on progress, teaching and learning and raising achievement. The ability to teach media would be desirable.
