This is an exciting opportunity for an Exams Assistant to join the Registry within an outstanding Sixth Form College. You will play a vital role in supporting the Exams Officer in delivering internal and external examinations and assessments, primarily for academic courses.
The successful candidate should have experience of undertaking administrative work in a busy office environment. Knowledge and experience of administering exams in a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
You will need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to provide an exams function which meets the needs of both staff and students.
We are seeking a candidate who has good technical ability and ideally familiar with Microsoft Access, as we use our own in-house MIS. Excellent organisational and planning skills will be crucial in order to be successful in this role, along with good attention to detail and strong time management skills.

Since September 2017, The College has been part of The Prospect Trust, a multi-academy trust. The College had originally been a grammar school founded in 1936, becoming a full sixth form college in 1992. The college is co-educational, with over 3900 students aged 16-19. Since its establishment as a sixth form, the college has undergone extensive redevelopment and modernisation, and as a result can boast of a wide range of high-quality teaching and recreational facilities such as a brand-new purpose-built teaching block opened in 2010 containing teaching facilities for physics, electronics and photography among others. Around a third of the students at the college are on mixed programmes of study combining A levels and vocational courses. The college offers 33 A-level courses, with the largest being in psychology and mathematics. Of the 11 vocational courses, the largest are in criminology and business.
