This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy.

Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a new Executive Assistant (EA) to support our Warden/CEO and Bursar/CFO. This role will also undertake the role of Clerk to our Trustees. This is a full-time position, working 52 weeks per year.

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level executive and project management support to the Warden and CFOO, plus other members of the Executive team. This will include responsibility for a wide range of activity, including:

  • Support the Warden/CEO and the CFOO by managing key administrative tasks and processes
  • Support the Warden/Exec and Trustees in managing the cycle of meetings, including agenda setting, drafting of reports, obtaining relevant information and promptly producing minutes.
  • Track and monitor the progress of projects initiated by the Executive Team.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Advise the Trustees on governance legislation and procedural matters where necessary
  • Advise on the annual calendar of meetings and tasks. 
  • Draft minutes of the meetings, indicating who is responsible for any agreed action with timescales
  • Act as a point of contact between the Executive Team and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments

The successful candidate will have proven experiences working as an Executive assistant in a similar role and/or degree qualified in Business Administration/Management. This is an exciting role, working on a variety of different projects at one time at Senior level, at a time where our foundation has very ambitious growth plans. Experience in working PMO would be advantageous.
