We are seeking to appoint a helpful, motivated and team focused individual to assist and support the facilities team with the daily preparation and maintenance of the whole school site, including Early Years, sports pavilions and the swimming pool. Duties include meeting and greeting facility hirers, as well as locking up and securing the school site. Having a flexible approach, willingness to adapt and being able to respond to priorities is essential.
The successful candidate will be able to share knowledge and information with other members of staff to promote good practice and work independently whilst consistently striving to maintain a high standard of work. A full UK driving license and a basic knowledge of and aptitude for, handyman tasks is essential. The ability to swim and drive a mini-bus would be helpful.
Working hours will operate on a two-week alternating rota:
- Week One: Monday to Friday 10.00am to 7.00pm
- Week Two: Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.00pm
- Some Saturdays: 7.00am to 6.00pm for 15 Saturday’ across the year.
There is an additional annual allowance of £3,000 in consideration of the unsocial working hours
