Facilities Manager

Great Ballard has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our team and take on this new role within the support team. 

Great Ballard is a delightful, co-educational independent day school for children aged 2 to 16 years. We are truly unique in providing individualised care and support for the children and a safe space in which each pupil can be inspired and discover what they can really achieve. Pupils are known by all staff, not just their form tutor and the school takes great pride in ensuring that none ever feel invisible or overlooked. We opened our senior school welcoming year 9 in September 2021 and welcomed our first Year 11 cohort in September 2023.

We are seeking a hands-on, enthusiastic Facilities Manager with a can-do attitude to work closely with the Business Manager to lead on site development plans as well as managing day to day maintenance, Health & Safety and security of the school site.

Previous experience of facilities management is desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone who can both lead and work with our maintenance and grounds team to ensure that the school buildings and grounds are kept clean, safe and secure, supporting the educational provision, in accordance with the operational needs of the school and all Health & Safety and other Regulatory requirements.

Terms & Benefits:

- Start date: as soon as possible

- Salary: £31,890 p.a.

- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
