Durham School for Girls is an all-girls school for pupils from the age of 3-18 in Doha, Qatar. Due to the nature of the school, we are looking for a female Head of Estates. The Head of Estates is responsible for the strategic and operational overview of the school estate and ensures the day-to-day delivery of all facilities’ contracts including catering, cleaning, maintenance and others. They are responsible for leading on the schools Health and Safety arrangements which includes writing and reviewing risk assessments, Contractor RAMS and undertaking internal Health and Safety audits. They will create the school’s strategic estates vision including outside lets, planning capital investment and planned preventive maintenance. The Head of Estates will manage budgets across multiple budget lines including planned/reactive maintenance budgets as well as capital expenditure. They will be a highly visible and engaging ambassador for the school and a credible role model and will promote the values, ethos and philosophy of the school and ensure that Qatari National Identity and values are at the centre of all we do. 

Entering into our 6th Year, we are pushing for high standards in all areas of learning. We offer a full range of IGCSE and AS levels to our girls, with many of them entering into top universities including Virginia Commonwealth, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon and Qatar University.
