The Role

We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and skilled Female Teacher of PE and Health & Social Care to join our dedicated teaching team. This role is ideal for a professional who can inspire young people, support their physical and personal development, and encourage healthy lifestyles both within and outside the classroom.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons, promoting physical activity and well-being.
  • Teach Health & Social Care, supporting students’ understanding of health, care, and the importance of community and social responsibility.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment, ensuring every student can participate, feel valued, and achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to the enrichment and extra-curricular sports programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE and Health & Social Care lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Encourage all students to engage actively in lessons, fostering teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude toward health and fitness.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
  • Contribute to the school community and extra-curricular sports activities, building strong relationships with students and promoting inclusivity.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Physical Education, Health & Social Care, or a related field.
  • Experience or a strong interest in teaching both PE and Health & Social Care.
  • Ability to inspire students of all abilities, demonstrating enthusiasm and a commitment to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities and the wider school community.
