Cheadle Hulme School is looking to appoint a well organised and personable individual to join our Food Preparation and Nutrition team as a Part Time Food Technician. 

The Role  

The role is working solely within the Food Preparation and Nutrition Department, supporting the delivery of the Key Stage 3 curriculum and GCSE.

The Department has an excellent record at GCSE, with 100% of candidates achieving grade 7 or above in 2023. The Department offers a range of co-curricular activities including a Young Chef Club, and Food Science Clubs for pupils in Years 7 and 8. Pupils can participate in national competitions such as the Springboard Future Chef Competition and the Rotary Young Chef Competition. 

The Department also runs trips in each key stage to consolidate classroom learning.

The role is Term Time only and the working hours are 32 per week. The actual, pro-rata pay for the role is £16,419 plus a wide range of attractive benefits including free school lunches and remission of Senior School fees.
