Role Overview:

As an FS Mentor, you will be instrumental in creating engaging, personalized learning experiences for Foundation Stage learners. You will guide children through our innovative curriculum, ensuring every child’s strengths, needs, and aspirations are nurtured. Your role will involve fostering a love of learning, embedding a growth mindset, and inspiring curiosity through inquiry-based approaches.

Core Responsibilities:

• Subject Knowledge: Deliver a tailored curriculum that embraces creativity and innovation, promotes high standards in communication, and fosters curiosity and intellectual growth.
• Curriculum Design and Adaptation: Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and Citizens Tapestry, considering individual learner needs and utilizing digital tools effectively.
• Learning and Teaching: Build positive relationships with learners, create an inclusive classroom environment, and nurture a love of learning. Ensure smooth transitions between year groups and place learners at the heart of every teaching moment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (B.Ed.).
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and report development.
• Skills: Expertise in FS pedagogy, curriculum design, and fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
