Job overview
To be responsible for the provision of effective and efficient clerking service to support the school governing body and to ensure Governors’ responsibilities are undertaken professionally and in accordance with governance legislation and providing advice and guidance on that legislation.
To arrange, facilitate, minute and carry out all administrative tasks surrounding staff disciplinary, staff complaint and permanent exclusion Governor’s hearings.

This position is 20 hours per week (includes remote working) 41.4 working weeks including term time plus INSET and 2.4 weeks in school holiday period. The start date is ASAP but by 21st October 2024

Richard Lander School is an oversubscribed 11-16 comprehensive school with a roll of 1300 students. It is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful Cathedral City of Truro, in the heart of Cornwall. Richard Lander is a new £25 million school build and boasts some of the best facilities a modern school can offer.
