Head of Academic Development

Bishopsgate School is seeking an exceptional and dynamic individual to join their Leadership Team as the Head of Academic Development. Reporting to the Headmaster the Head of Academic Development will be responsible for championing and leading the school's broad and engaging curriculum to ensure that it remains vibrant, future-focused and aligned with the needs of our learners.

This is a demanding and wide-ranging post, offering the opportunity to lead curriculum innovation, develop teaching practice, and implement creative educational initiatives that uphold the core values of Bishopsgate. The teaching load will be tailored to reflect the specific demands and scope of this senior leadership role.

The successful candidate will possess outstanding leadership qualities, driven by a genuine commitment to delivering excellence in independent education and nurturing a holistic environment where each pupil is encouraged to thrive. As a visible leader within the school, the Head of Academic Development will inspire both staff and students, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to elevate teaching and learning across the school.
