We seek an outstanding Drama practitioner with exceptional skills, enthusiasm and experience to join us as Head of Drama following the internal promotion of our current postholder. The successful candidate will play a key role in our successful performance faculty at this exciting time of curriculum development. Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School is a popular, high performing 11-16 girls’ inner city community school situated in Islington, North London.

The Drama department is highly successful and students enjoy the subject. We are ideally located to take advantage of London’s rich cultural offer and in particular have a relationship with the Almeida Theatre as a partner school. This is an ideal opportunity for both aspiring and existing middle leaders to be a part of and lead a team that continues to strive to improve outcomes for students and focuses on ensuring each child achieves their best whatever their starting point and background.

Students at EGA achieve impressive grades but we are a school that values the education of the whole child and daily make it a reality that all of our students can achieve without limits. This is a testament to all our staff and their ability to encourage and nurture talent.

This is an exciting time to join us in making a real difference to the life chances of our students.
