The school opened in September 2011 and quickly established itself as an exceptional and dynamic place for children to learn. In our recent International Schools Quality Mark (ISQM) accreditation, we were recognised as Gold Level and were identified as being outstanding in all 8 standards during the accreditation visit.

The ISP Early Years Campus is located in the centre of Desa ParkCity, approximately 10 minutes walk from the main campus. It is a purpose built centre with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities as well as access to swimming and sports facilities at the ParkCity Club.
The Head of Early Years will be a member of the Primary Leadership Team as well as having responsibility for the day to day management and running of the Early Years campus. They are responsible for eight classes of students and a team of teaching and administrative staff. The role does not have a specific teaching allocation but the Head of Early Years should be committed to working with staff in classrooms, modelling excellent practice and contributing to a continuous programme of development.
Applicants for the position should:
- have significant experience in leading and teaching in an Early Years setting - experience of teaching in a primary school is desirable
- take responsibility for the leadership and management of the Early Years Centre and work effectively with the Head of Primary and Primary Leadership Team to continuously develop our provision as well as contribute to the development of the primary school
- be an excellent Early Years classroom practitioner who can plan and lead quality educational opportunities based on the English Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum within a safe, positive and healthy learning environment
- have experience of implementing Review and Development processes, supporting all staff to maintain outstanding teaching and learning across the EYC
- be familiar with Early Years assessment processes and be able to collect and analyse data to inform teaching and learning and raise standards
- have an understanding of the needs of Early Years children and build warm, welcoming and supportive relationships with all students and their families
- perform with professionalism, integrity and kindness at all times
- have excellent communication skills and positive work ethic in order to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
- be able to employ different strategies to support and accelerate the learning of all students, in particular multilingual learners
- possess humour, energy and the ability and willingness to go above and beyond, positively contributing to the development of our school
- be committed to contributing to the sports, performing arts and CCA programmes across the school
- be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (this is a requirement of the Ministry of Education)
- possess a recognised teaching qualification with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience

The International School @ ParkCity (ISP), located in the exclusive residential area of Desa ParkCity (www.desaparkcity.com), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, opened in September 2011 and as established itself as a special and dynamic place for children to learn.
