Founded in 2000, Doha Academy currently consists of three schools and offers a KG-12, British-based and Qatar national curriculum. Doha Academy is an ambitious organisation, governed by Al Faleh Educational Holding that includes AFG College with the University of Aberdeen. The group of schools are both nationally and internationally accredited.

In addition to offering IGCSE’s and A Level’s, Doha Academy Al Waab is also an International Baccalaureate (IB) Candidate school, seeking to offer the IB Diploma from September 2025.
For late August we are seeking to recruit an experienced Head of English, well-versed in the National Curriculum for England (Key Stage 3 – 5). This important role provides excellent career development opportunities, with the chance to lead on the development of the English department across two schools.
In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in the subject you teach, you should also possess a recognized initial teacher training qualification. We strongly encourage early applications.
