The Jewish Community Academy Trust (JCAT), a collective of four primary schools in North London and Hertfordshire, is seeking an exceptional Head of HR to provide outstanding HR support and advice to our schools and strategic support to the Trust. The Head of HR will champion HR across the Trust, ensuring that staff are supported to enable them to ensure that each child is afforded the chance to excel in a nurturing environment that respects the individual character of each school.

The Head of HR will oversee all aspects of human resources across JCAT, ensuring alignment with the trust's objectives and compliance with UK employment laws. This role involves line managing the HR team. The Head of HR will develop and implement HR strategies, manage employee relations, and ensure effective HR operations across the trust.

The Head of HR will support the trust with strategic plans, developing innovative HR processes to ensure the Trust is viewed as an employer of choice. This includes fostering a positive organisational culture, promoting staff engagement, and implementing best practices to attract and retain top talent within the education sector.

Dear Colleague

Thank you for expressing an interest in applying for a post with the Jewish Community Academy Trust.

JCAT is modern and centrist Orthodox in outlook, under the religious authority of the Chief Rabbi, providing an immersive Jewish experience and education for all students, tailored to the specific needs of each of its academies. It is a centre of educational excellence, developing well-rounded students committed to a life of Torah, Jewish values and to the State of Israel, who have a strong commitment to Britain and British values. We intend our pupils to make a meaningful contribution to the Jewish community, Israel and wider society. JCAT is creating  a nurturing cohort of schools keen  to  develop and challenge its  students to learn and grow.

There are four Primary schools within the Trust – two 2-form entry schools (Wolfson-Hillel in Southgate and Hertsmere in Radlett) and two 1-form entry schools in Barnet (Rimon and Sacks Morasha.)

I do hope you will follow up your initial interest and I am happy to reply to any additional queries.

Warm regards

Ash Brimfield
