The New Beacon is a leading day and boarding prep school for boys aged 3-13, with a co-educational nursery, renowned for its commitment to excellence in education, sport and the arts. Since merging with Tonbridge School in 2021, The New Beacon has benefitted from the close relationships and expertise of one of the leading boys’ boarding and day schools in the country, where the vast majority of pupils will go on to study after Year 8.

The School is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Head of Mathematics to lead and develop the Mathematics department. The successful candidate will be a passionate educator, able to inspire students and staff, and committed to high academic standards. The Head of Mathematics will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum, supporting pupil learning, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and challenging learning environment for all children.
