Denton Community College are looking to recruit a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Music to lead the department and drive a successful team.

In collaboration with Northern Education Trust, Denton Community College has celebrated a significant leap in GCSE performance, marking a proud moment for students, staff, and the wider community. A notable 61% of students achieved a pass in both English and Maths, with 44% securing a strong pass in these core subjects. This achievement is projected to surpass the national average for the first time, reflecting an impressive 18% improvement in a single year. It is likely that Denton Community College will stand out as one of the most improved schools in the region. We are looking for dedicated teaching staff to join our continuing journey.

About Denton Community College

Located in the town of Denton, Greater Manchester, Denton Community College is a co-educational secondary school with places for around 1,350 pupils aged 11-16. It was founded in 2010 after the merger of two local schools, Egerton Park Arts College and Two Trees Sports College.

In 2012, having previously been spread across two sites, the school opened a brand-new purpose-built site.
