Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Physical Education to lead a dedicated team of professionals in our Physical Education Faculty. The successful candidate will be an inspirational professional who will provide vision, strong leadership, and direction. As an experienced practitioner with a track record of excellent outcomes for their students, they will lead by example, having the highest expectations for both student engagement, outcomes and behaviour across the Faculty, while nurturing the school's inclusive ethos.


They will ensure the Physical Education curriculum and all lessons in the Faculty meet the curriculum aims of the school:

  •  Ensure students have the opportunity to become ‘who they aspire to be’ and the best version of themselves by continually guiding them in how to improve towards their academic and personal goals and fulfil their potential


The successful candidate will have the ability to teach Physical Education to both GCSE and A Level standard.
