Our School
Established in August 2014 BSY later became part of Nord Anglia Education and its global family of schools. We provide personalised, inspiring learning to students from EYFS- Year 13 offering IPC, IGCSE and A Levels. We link our learning approach and attitude to our four key values:

Our sports facilities include a covered sports field, a 25-metre pool, two gyms, and a climbing wall. The Science Department is equipped with state-of-art science labs and we are proud of our 500-seat theatre and specialist music and art rooms. About the role
Reporting directly to the Principal, you will be a key member of the School Leadership Team, providing direction, inspiration, and guidance to our Secondary teaching staff and playing a significant role in strategic planning. Focused on developing a high performing team, you, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school including staff development, performance management and deployment. You will also be responsible for developing creative and innovative learning experiences and opportunities to enhance our already high standards of academic attainment and progress. This role would suit both experienced deputy heads yearning for something a little different and also those ready to develop their leadership skills further.
About you
With the ability to drive excellence by valuing and developing others, you will be a qualified teacher with experience of both hands-on teaching and management in education. This means you will be fully up to date with curriculum developments. Strong on leadership and people management, you will have a flair for bringing people with you, setting and meeting challenging performance targets and engaging with parents and students alike.
A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community.
Able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will possess a university degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and considerable teaching experience. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the school’s level of achievement.
Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for Yangon, Myanmar including having a bachelor’s degree and teaching certificate.
