We are seeking an inspirational and engaged Headteacher to lead The Daiglen School into its next phase of development. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for education, will have a deep commitment to child development and the ability to inspire both staff and pupils alike. As Headteacher, you will uphold the School's ethos of providing a caring, inclusive and high-achieving learning environment while driving forward strategic initiatives and maintaining the School's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the Governing Body to provide strategic leadership and vision for the future direction of the School.
- Maintain and enhance the School's high academic standards, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive school culture that prioritises student well-being and personal development.
- Lead, manage and support staff, promoting professional growth and collaboration.
- Engage with parents, the local community and external stakeholders to build strong partnerships.
- Ensure the efficient management of school resources, finances and facilities.
- Uphold the School's commitment to safeguarding and promote a safe environment for all pupils.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have proven leadership experience in a primary or preparatory school, preferably within the independent sector.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant educational leadership qualifications.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the academic, social and emotional needs of children aged 3-11.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust and confidence in staff, pupils and parents.
- Be a strategic thinker with the ability to lead school improvement initiatives and manage change effectively.
- Show a commitment to upholding the ethos and values of The Daiglen School, fostering a nurturing, supportive and ambitious environment.
