Job Title:        Headteacher

Location:     Longdon Hall School, Near Lichfield, WS15 4PT

Salary:       Up to £80,000 per annum dependent on experience and skills 

Hours:       Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week 

Contract:         Permanent, term time only

Who are we looking for?

We are looking to hear from SEN professionals with the ability and ambition to inspire a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outstanding learning for pupils and young people with special education needs.

We are looking for someone who knows how to bring a creative and innovative approach to improving performance and support for our pupils and their families. An excellent communicator, you will become an ambassador for Acorn Education, as the role will include working in partnership with parents, local authorities and other stakeholders.

Essential

  • Qualified Teacher Status of Equivalent
  • Willingness to extend personal and professional development
  • Prior experience as a senior leader in an SEN school

Longdon Hall School is an independent specialist day school for ages from 7 to 18 years, catering for pupils with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
