Job overview

We require a reliable, enthusiastic and organised HLTA with experience of working with young people to deliver the day to day provision for students require support with numeracy across all key stages.  The role will include undertaking and evaluating small group or 1:1 interventions and working with teaching staff to implement strategies to enable them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

Applicants will be patient, with the ability to listen and build constructive relationships with young people. Experience of planning and leading on activities in the area of numeracy is essential as is the ability to use effective behaviour strategies.

The successful candidate must have excellent IT skills, have GCSE grade 5 (or equivalent) in English and Maths with an awareness of the barriers to learning that students with additional needs face.
