Job overview

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced, outgoing and enthusiastic Houseparent to work within our junior co-educational boarding house within our dedicated residential team, to help maintain a stress-free, secure and happy community for the students, whilst promoting and developing a positive school ethos within our boarding houses.

Whilst we woudwelcome applications from those who have had previous relevent experience, we would also encourage applications from anyone who has a genuine interest in working with children and would like to gain exeriance in working in a boarding environment.

This role commences in September 2025.

Founded in 1928, Westonbirt School is a secondary school with a sixth form for boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 18. There are currently around 500 pupils enrolled at the school. It is situated on 210 acres of land in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. The school has a thriving boarding community. Pupil numbers have grown rapidly since the transition to full co-education in September 2019. A whole site development masterplan is in place which has seen significant investment in new teaching spaces, boarding accommodation, sports facilities and infrastructure.
