The Federation is looking for a highly professional and committed HR Advisor to provide a high-quality HR advisory service to our senior leaders, managers and Governors on a range of HR policies and procedures. Ideally we are looking for the successful candidate to have solid experience as an HR/ER generalist with excellent knowledge of best HR practise and with strong attention to detail. A CIPD qualification is desirable, however, this is not essential for the role.

We can offer:

  • a supportive leadership team and vibrant professional community
  • a positive school culture
  • a commitment to continuing professional development
  • a supportive, Christian ethos across our school communities
  • a well-equipped gym onsite that staff can use before and after school and in the holidays

Early applications are encouraged, and applicants may be invited to interview prior to the closing date.

Our Greenwich Peninsula campus, beside the O2, offers excellent public transport links via the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich and various bus routes.

Please note there is no staff parking at the school - do consider this before submitting your application.

As this role will involve contact with children we will take up at least two references before interview asking about your suitability to work with children. Any job offer will be conditional on you having a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Criminal Records Check and Barred List Check, having the legal right to work in the UK and having satisfactory overseas criminal records checks if deemed necessary.

‘Koinonia Federation is committed to positively tackling discrimination in all its forms and works to ensure that all sections of the community have fair and equal access to and experience within employment. Values and vision

St Mary Magdalene C of E School aims to teach pupils to treat others as they would expect to be treated. The pastoral structure of the school ensures that every student is known individually. Children are provided with opportunities to develop their mentoring and leadership skills. The school specialises in Religious Studies and collective worship is a key part of each school day. Teachers intend collective worship, which is led by senior leaders or the School Chaplain, to be a creative and responsive time that follows the Anglican calendar and also acknowledges the key dates of other faiths.

Inspections

St Mary Magdalene All Through School was inspected by SIAMS in 2018 and was graded Outstanding in all areas.  It was also inspected by Ofsted in 2023 and continues to be a Good school.

Christ Church CofE PrimarySchool

We are a Church of England primary school, in the heart of East Greenwich, that promotes and celebrates our Christian ethos in all that we do.

As a one form entry school, we pride ourselves on knowing each and every child and work in partnership with families to ensure that all our pupils achieve their full potential. We strive for excellence and high standards through the Federation core values of faith, family and fellowship. We want our pupils to go out into the world happy, courageous, resilient, motivated with a life-long love of learning fully equipped to make a positive contribution to society.

We have an inspiring and creative curriculum that meets both the academic and spiritual needs of the all of our pupils. Our caring-team work hard to break down any barriers to learning so that everyone has an equal chance to flourish. We guide our pupils to encourage one another to be resilient in their learning.

Outside the school building, our large grounds provide lots of space for our pupils to enjoy the outdoors. This includes a beautiful community garden and forest school space which are used to enhance the curriculum and the pupils’ learning experiences.
