Values and vision
Reach Academy Feltham believes it is impossible to teach to high standards unless the teacher knows the children, both personally and academically. By keeping the school small, it believes it can create a community where no pupil is left behind. The school’s vision is for every one of its students to achieve success and have the opportunity to attend a top university or thrive on their chosen career path.
Reach Academy Feltham is committed to running an annual residential trip to a university, enabling pupils to learn about life beyond school. It provides mentors for its students (including successful business leaders and professionals) and arranges internships for older students.
Ofsted report
“Pupils display excellent attitudes to learning. They behave impeccably, show high levels of respect and courtesy towards each other, to their teachers, other staff and visitors. The academy has a calm and purposeful atmosphere combined with a sense of excitement generated by pupils enjoying their learning. Excellent leadership by the Principal has ensured that high expectations and a pursuit of excellence are the norm. The Principal’s vision that the academy prepares pupils for a life of ‘choice and opportunity’ is shared by all who work within the academy.”
