Job overview

This a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Humanities teacher to join a vibrant, successful, growing school in cosmopolitan Yerevan, the capital city of beautiful Armenia.

Requirements for a successful candidate are: 

·      A degree in Humanities or a related field

·      Secondary UK or equivalent teacher qualification/ registration

·      Experience in teaching in a UK or international school is an advantage, however the post is open to NQTs.

CIS Armenia follows the Cambridge syllabus for IGCSE and A/AS Level in Humanities.

The school current roll is 230 students from EYFS to Year 13. It is mostly a single-form entry school, with a maximum of 18 students in each class. It has a wonderful community spirit, with school and teachers very well supported by parents. The school is expanding, with plans to move into a specifically designed and built new campus in the next two years.

CIS Armenia is a young school located in the centre of the capital city, Yerevan. The school implements the Cambridge International Curriculum from EY - Year 13 (ages 3-18)
