A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic IQA to join our expanding Employability Team, delivering and quality assuring ASF funded courses.

 

The successful candidate will have a passion to pass on their skills and knowledge to a caseload of Tutors working with students undertaking a range of Level 1, 2 and potentially 3 qualifications in the following:

·       Health and Social Care sector, including adult social care, and mental health

·       Education sector

·       Personal Development

·       Customer Service

 

Competence in all of the above sectors is an advantage however individual sectors of expertise will be considered.

 

Primary responsibilities include seeing the tutors through the quality process, coaching, mentoring and assessing each tutor in their practice to ensure all elements of the qualification framework are successfully met for timely completion of the qualification. The Internal Quality Assurer will be responsible for the whole quality process and excellent record keeping in line with company and governing body requirements.

 

Additional duties may include covering delivery dependent on the demand for courses, therefore Training/Teaching/Basic Skills qualifications would be an advantage, although not essential.

 

Applicants must have occupational competence and hold the Assessors A1 Award (TDLB D32/D33) or TAQA 301 Award and the V1 Award (TDLB D34) TAQA 401 Award. 

 

Excellent communication skills and a professional outlook are essential. Flexibility to work additional hours when required and undertake substantial travel when necessary is also essential.
