Barnet and Southgate College is seeking a part-time IT Helpdesk Assistant (0.4 FTE) on a fixed-term contract until July 2026. This role represents 40% of a full-time position, equating to 14.4 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries, providing first-line support to internal users. Responsibilities include logging and monitoring IT support requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and promoting our helpdesk services.

Key Responsibilities : 

- Operate the College’s IT Helpdesk service, providing timely and efficient support.

- Log, track, and escalate support requests, ensuring accurate records.

- Assist users with cybersecurity issues and remote access to IT resources.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Maintain confidentiality and security of College data and equipment.

- Occasionally support evening and weekend helpdesk operations.
