Job overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Lead Playground Supervisor to join our happy and dynamic staff team. This position involves taking a lead role in overseeing the safety and wellbeing of our children in the playground, working alongside other members of staff on duty. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children, and will understand the importance of promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all pupils.

Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School was last inspected by ISI in November 2021 and received the grade of ‘excellent’ in all categories, as well as meeting all of the areas of regulatory compliance.

This is a part-time position, working 17.5 hours per week. The working hours are 10:45 – 14:15 on Monday and 11:00 – 14:30 Tuesday – Friday (term-time only, 34 weeks per year). The successful candidate will also be required to undertake annual safeguarding training.

About Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School

Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School is a lively, co-educational and inclusive independent school for children from 4 to 11 years old. Our children are well prepared for the 11+ examinations in Year Six and we work closely with parents to select the right school for each child.

All pupils are equipped with the essential qualities of kindness and compassion so that, when each child leaves, he or she is skilled and confident to make the most of all the opportunities on offer.

We form strong and trusting partnerships with our parents. We operate an ‘Open Door Policy', where parents’ comments, views, contributions and suggestions are valued. We also welcome parents’ direct support with activities such as hearing children read, accompanying day visits and at special events throughout the year.
