Kings’ School Dubai Inclusion Team welcomes applications for a Learning Support Assistant 1:1 to join our thriving school.

This is a superb opportunity for an aspiring, imaginative and inspirational Learning Support Assistant to join an outstanding, creative, innovative and supportive team.

Qualification:

  • Holds an A-Level certificate or relevant related qualification.


Skills and Requirements:

  • Have sound knowledge of the EYFS and KS1curriculum.
  • Have experience of working with children who need additional support to accelerate their progress.
  • Be an innovative, flexible, creative, enthusiastic practitioner and be able to plan and deliver a range of interventions.
  • Have an understanding of how to run a range of interventions.
  • Have an excellent understanding of phonics, in particular the Read Write Inc programme, and be confident to deliver group and 1:1 phonics session.
  • Know and understand how to use a range of strategies to support learning in the classroom.
  • Have an understanding of IEP’s and be confident to attend parent meetings.
  • Be an innovative, creative, enthusiastic practitioner.
  • Be committed to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students within their care.
  • Have an understanding of how to manage a range of behaviour needs.
  • Be able to develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A valid UAE residence visa is a must for the position.
